Individuals starting out in the EDI industry may be daunted by the challenges facing them. Courses offered by the EDI Academy can open doors for those who feel overwhelmed by EDI. EDI Academy courses are first-rate guidance and knowledge transfer (training) sessions, explaining and elaborating on best practices and correct, successful EDI implementations for both the novice and experienced EDI professional.
EDI Academy training classes are led by highly qualified EDI professionals who have years of experience in the industry. The instructors can answer any questions students may have, and can advise professionally on how to handle specific circumstances or situations that might be daunting or confusing for the inexperienced EDI operator.

EDI Academy will be offering a course on EDI Fundamentals and Best Practices on the following dates (Autumn 2007/Winter 2008):
September 18-19, 2007 Dallas, TX October 16-17, 2007 Chicago, IL November 6-7, 2007 New York, NY December 11-12, 2007 Raleigh, NC January 16-17, 2008 San Francisco, CA
All class members will be provided with a course binder and accompanying CD to take home. They will also receive a certificate of completion of the course from EDI Academy. All EDI Academy attendees receive exclusive access to course materials and other helpful and valuable EDI information via the web. The class session runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a one hour break for lunch (provided by EDI Academy). A Continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m.
The course on EDI Fundamental and Best Practices offers an excellent opportunity for anyone whose work requires understanding and use of EDI. What makes this course unique is its method of applying real world examples from various companies and industries. After completing this course, class members will have increased comprehension of EDI fundamentals and they will also be coached on how to overcome major EDI challenges. The goal is the appropriate application of the learned best practices.
